    Hola, Yesenia

All four of us are back at our respective homes now, and we wanted to let you know that we were very pleased with the service provided by EcoCircuitos this trip. Our drivers were always very prompt, so every day started on time, and we always felt safe in their care. Park Eden and Los Establos were, as expected, excellent accomodations in all respects.

All of our guides were very knowledgable about their activities, and they were very pleasant fellows, as well. We got the trip off to an excellent start with Jose's tour of Casco Viejo, Panama Vieja and El Valle's attractions. We also found the Embera Encounter to be especially interesting and enjoyable, and would like to thank Jose for his excellent information about them and the area.
I'm sure Jim and Cheri would also like me to thank you once again for taking care of their extra luggage while we were in Boquete.
I will go to your web site, and if there is a place for customers to give you feedback that others may see, you may be sure my comments will be very, very positive.

    Thanks,

    Hi Annie,

I wanted to thank you and your staff for our wonderful day tours. D’Angelo and Joshua were delightful, professional and informative. My family greatly enjoyed all that we learned and saw and aside from the hundreds of photos we took I am happier to say that we take away great memories of Panama. Again, with much thanks and wishes for a wonderful new year.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival to Panama

At the appropriate time an EcoCircuitos representative will meet and assist you at the Tocumen International Airport. You will be transferred to Miramar Intercontinental hotel, check in and overnight.

Day 2 Panama City Tour

During the half-day morning tour you will visit the ruins of Old Panama, climb up the Cathedral tower, visit the Old Panama Museum and continue to Casco Viejo (the old city compound), which dates from the late 1600's. A bilingual guide will describe the events in history leading up to the eventual movement of the capital city to its present location. Casco Viejo is home to monuments of Ferdinand de Lesseps and other Frenchmen instrumental in the ill-fated attempt of the French to construct a canal through Panama.
The full day tour continues with a visit to the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal where large ships can be seen transiting the canal. Enjoy a presentation by the Panama Canal Authority on the history of the Panama Canal and marvel at the workings of this feat of human engineering. Lunch will be in a local restaurant. The tour continues to the Panama Canal area, including the town of Balboa, formerly part of the Panama Canal Zone. You will stop at the folk art market at the old YMCA building. In the afternoon you will return to your hotel in Panama City. (BL)

Azuero is known as the folkloric center of Panama, the traditional clothing, such as the beautiful Pollera, and handicrafts, such as ceramics based on pre-Colombian designs, originated and still made in the area. Traces of Spanish-colonial Panama can still be found throughout the peninsula in small towns such as Parita and Pedasí with houses with red-tile roofs and elaborate ironwork. Your picturesque transfer will allow you to enjoy Panama’s diverse terrain, starting in Panama City and heading west through the Cocle, Veraguas, Herrera and Los Santos Provinces.
